Please find below the programme for this year's meeting of the Welsh Philosophical Society, which takes place at Gregynog Hall ( from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th April 2017. If you would like to attend the meeting please complete and return the form below electronically, and send the requisite payment. The deadline for registration is Monday 27th February, but I would advise booking as early as possible. New procedures at Gregynog mean that we are only guaranteed a limited number of places. While I am hopeful that we will be able to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend there is no guarantee of that. If the meeting is over-subscribed priority will be given to those who register first. (And the sooner I have a good idea of numbers the greater are the chances of Gregynog having the places we need.)

Registration Form can be downloaded here.

The registration fee covers full bed and board from afternoon tea on Friday to morning coffee on Sunday. If you do not fall clearly into any of the three categories listed, if you will be coming for less than the full period, or if you are a postgraduate from outside Wales, please contact me before making payment. It may be possible to make limited adjustments to rates to reflect individual circumstances. Please note that I am unable to register anyone until I have received payment. Note also that if you have to cancel I will only be able to refund your payment if I am able to fill your place.

In the Friday evening session Constantine Sandis will introduce a discussion of Stanley Cavell’s paper 'Must We Mean What We Say?'. Please indicate when registering if you do not have ready access to a copy of this.

If you have any questions, about travel or anything else, please contact me. If you are coming by train your station is Newtown (Powys). (I will try to coordinate transport from the station.)

If you know of people who you think might like to attend please feel free to forward this notice to them. You might also let me have their e-mail addresses, so that I can add them to future mailings.

I look forward to seeing you in April.

Best wishes,
